AI+ Pulse And Nova 5G Budget 5G Phones Launched In India: Price, Specs
Google AI Mode in search is now available for everyone in India. The feature was working through the Labs section of Google till now but the company is now making it publicly available for all web and mobile users in the country.
“All the features from the Labs launch will be available: so you can type, use your voice, or even snap a photo with Lens to get a rich, comprehensive response with helpful links, and dig deeper with follow-up questions," Google points out in a blog post. Google AI mode was introduced at the I/O 2025 earlier this year and now people in US and India can try out the new Search avatar.
Google AI Mode In Search For India: How To Use
Search AI is going to be a big part of Google’s own push in the arena as it looks to reinvent the Search wheel for many years to come.
You can start using the AI Mode by going to the main Google webpage and click on the AI Mode tab which opens the main AI mode page in Search. You will even see AI Mode at the top-left of the Search panel next to All, News, and the Shopping tab. Google is only offering the new option in English with more languages to be added in the coming months.
The interface is similar to other AI chatbots like ChatGPT and Grok on the web and basically gets you going with the simple, “Ask Anything" prompt. You can plan for your travels, compare products on the internet and get other genuine responses, all sourced through different platforms.
The new AI Mode experiment in Search uses advanced reasoning, thinking and multimodal capabilities from Gemini to help with even your toughest questions. Google says, you can ask whatever’s on your mind and get an AI-powered response with the ability to explore further with follow-up questions and helpful web links.
This is where the AI mode differs from the traditional search responses that Google has offered for decades. “AI Mode does the heavy lifting for you, intelligently organizing information and gives you easy-to-digest breakdowns," the Google blog post shares.
Google’s biggest market outside of the US, where people use its products in large numbers. You get the cheapest mobile data in the world, and what better way to ramp up its user base than to launch it in India.
