Adobe users have got a major security warning that is critical for all its software like InDesign, After Effects and Illustrator among others. The Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has issued a critical warning this month, regarding multiple vulnerabilities in Adobe applications.

These vulnerabilities could potentially enable an attacker to bypass security restrictions on the targeted system. The issues affect Adobe users on both Windows and macOS platforms, which is a serious concern for the company and people who use these popular software for work and personal use.

Adobe Security Warning: What It Says

The CERT-In note dated July 15, 2025 comes with a critical warning and says, “Multiple vulnerabilities exist in Adobe products due to memory corruption, incorrect authorization, and other issues." The security agency says hackers can use these issues to exploit your system for data theft, remote code execution and even crashing the system.

The primary targets for attackers will be system administrators, security teams and end-users of Adobe creative software products, the agency further highlights in its post.

Adobe Platforms Affected By Security Risk

If you are using any of these Adobe products on your Windows or macOS system, update to the latest version right away. The agency has recommended users of these Adobe applications to promptly apply the necessary patch. This involves downloading and installing the latest version of the affected application.

Adobe has also released security updates against these vulnerabilities. These updates resolve critical, important and moderate vulnerabilities that could lead to arbitrary code execution and security feature bypass.
