Samsung Launched The Galaxy Z Fold 7 But Where Is The Tri-Fold Device?
The iPhone 17 Pro series is expected to get a lot of upgrades this year, especially the look and design of the model. The iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max are the flagship bearers for Apple and it needs to push the envelope with every iteration.
But there is always the fear that any upgrade will result in a price hike, which Apple does its best to keep it standard and people go for it. There has been a lot of chatter around the new camera setup, maybe a battery bump that matters and other non-AI updates.
iPhone 17 Pro Price At Launch: What Can We Expect?
So, will these upgrades bring a price hike for the iPhone 17 Pro series this year? Most reports suggest so and give us a hint of how and what Apple can command for these new shiny upgrades.
The iPhone 17 Pro price, going by the rumours, could start around Rs 1,39,900 which will be a significant bump on the iPhone 16 Pro launch price of Rs 1,19,900 last year. The iPhone 17 Pro Max price could go as high as Rs 1,64,900 when it launches this year, and that will be a Rs 20,000 price increase from its predecessor.
This also suggests that we could have an iPhone 17 Pro model priced over Rs 2 lakh for the top variant.
iPhone 17 Pro: Big Upgrades Coming?
iPhone 17 Pro series is expected to get a wide range of upgrades this year and now reports have come out which talks about the iPhone 17 Pro Max battery size which could be Apple’s biggest ever. The latest iPhone 17 Pro model launching this year will carry a 5,000mAh battery, as highlighted in a Weibo post by tipster Instant Digital.
Apple will be offering the new Pro-level chipset for the iPhone 17 Pro series. Last year we got the A18 Pro version and now it is time to see the A19 Pro SoC powering the new Pro lineup for the company in 2025. The iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max models could come with 12GB RAM as the standard this year which should aid its levels and AI support further.
Apple is rumoured to bring a new 48MP telephoto lens which should be a notable upgrade on the 12MP lens that the iPhone 16 Pro models got last year. This means Apple could bring a full set of 48MP sensors for its triple camera system with this year’s iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max models.
