Vivo X Fold 5 is priced at CNY 6,999 (Rs 84,000 approx) for the 12GB + 256GB variant, going up to CNY 7,999 (Rs 96,000 approx) if you want the higher 12GB + 512GB model. There are other options with 16GB + 512GB/1TB storage that cost CNY 8,499 and CNY 9,499, respectively.
Vivo X Fold 5 India launch is widely tipped for July and going by these prices, we are hoping the brand keeps it aggressive this year.
Vivo X Fold 5 Specifications
Now let’s talk about the specifications of the Vivo X Fold 5 and you need to read this. The foldable gets an 8.03-inch 8T LTPO inner display and a 6.53-inch 8T LTPO outer screen as well. It gets 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 4,500 nits of peak brightness, and other high-tech tuning.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset which also came with the X Fold 3 Pro model last year. You get it with 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. The global X Fold 5 model comes with Android 15-based OriginOS version.
The X Fold 5 manages to weigh 217 grams and comes with a thickness of 9.2mm when you fold it. The device comes with IPX5 rating for dust and IPX8 + IPX9 and IPX9+ rating for water resistance. The X Fold 5 packs a 6,000mAh battery, the biggest we have seen on a foldable till date, and it supports 80W wired and 40W wireless fast charging speed.
Now talking about the cameras, the X Fold 5 features a triple system with Zeiss T lens coating. You have a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
