OnePlus 13s launch is likely to be followed up with the new unveiling of the Nord 5 series by the company. New details revealed this week suggest OnePlus could bring its new Nord models in early July, for both global and the Indian markets. This is the first time we are hearing about the OnePlus Nord 5 launch news, along with its expected specifications.

The Nord 4 series was unveiled in Europe last year and we could be looking at similar plans for its successor as well. The new OnePlus Nord phones are once again expected to get the MediaTek chipset.

The OnePlus Nord 5 launch details have come via reliable tipster Yogesh Brar who says the Nord 5 and the Nord CE 5 will be unveiled on July 8. He does not say if this will be the global launch date or the Nord 5 India launch timeline. However, the reported OnePlus Nord 5 July launch is close to the details that were shared previously. 

OnePlus Nord 5 Series: Price And Expected Features 

The first big change we could expect from the Nord 5 series is the flat design which has become the standard in 2025. The phone could be offered with a 1.5K AMOLED display that should support 120Hz refresh rate. OnePlus is rumoured to be using the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset to power the Nord 5 and the Nord CE 5 could use a Dimensity 8000 version. 

Nord 5 will obviously be the hero product but OnePlus will be banking on more demand for the Nord CE 5 which is usually priced lower than the regular variant in the market. Other details around the Nord 5 hint at a dual rear camera system where you have a 50MP main sensor paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. 

The biggest change with the Nord 5 series could be in the battery department, as reports suggest the company will be offering a mammoth 7,100mAh unit with the Nord CE 5 and a 6,550mAh unit with the Nord 5, both supporting 80W charging speed out of the box. Keeping all these features and possible upgrades in mind, the OnePlus Nord 5 launch price could start around Rs 35,000 while the Nord CE 5 should be available in the Rs 25,000 bracket.
