Apple WWDC 2025 will be a big affair once again and most people will be glued to the keynote event on Monday when Tim Cook and Co. walk us through new platforms. However, Apple has made a cheeky habit of teasing upcoming products and this year we could get our first look at the iPhone 17 Air model next week.

These hints come via a new WWDC 2025 teaser from the company which says Sleek Peek, and going by the rumours around the ultra-thin iPhone variant, it is easy to see why people expect Apple to give us a peek into the new product. Having said that, Apple does focus on the new iOS, macOS and iPadOS platforms at the developer conference, so it could be linked to a new sleek interface for the latest iOS 26 and macOS 26 versions launching this year.

iPhone 17 Air Tease: Can’t Rule That Out

Apple generally keeps these big reveals close to its chest, so we are entirely sure if the Sleek Peek tagline actually refers to the iPhone 17 Air model. Also, WWDC 2025 mainly focuses on the developer stuff so that Apple can start building the platforms for its new iPhones, macs and iPads coming later in the year.

We could definitely get some news about the HomePod smart home device that has been rumoured to be in the works by Bloomberg in an earlier report.

iPhone 17 Air: Apple’s Big Launch In 2025

The iPhone 17 Air will sit in a unique position in the series lineup later this year. Earlier leaks suggested the iPhone 17 Air will come with a 2,800mAh battery which will help the device to weigh around 145 grams and get 5.5mm thickness. However, new details hint at a different plan which in some ways is better than the earlier reports.

Reports also claim the OLED display will be the heaviest part of the iPhone 17 Air along with the battery. The new model is likely to get a single 48MP rear camera, powered by Apple’s A19 chipset and offered with 8GB RAM support Apple AI features and tools.

Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge has made a slow start since its debut and Apple will be keeping a close eye on how the market responds to its own sleek device when it comes out later this year. We’ll be eager to see if the 17 Air does make an appearance at the WWDC 2025 next week and keep you updated on all the details from the event.
