Google is busy working on the Android 16 update behind the scenes and it has confirmed that the new version will be released by June this year. And that means the new Pixel 10 series launch could be well in place in the next few months. Now, we have new details that not only puts a date for the Pixel 10 series launch and what features we can expect with the new flagship phones from Google. 

Pixel 10 Launch In August: It’s Flagship Time 

Google is reportedly doing a pre-launch event later this month in London where a select group of people will get a chance to experience the new Pixel 10 phones and their features. The event is open to SuperFans which means Google is hoping to keep its cards close to the chest before the big reveal of the new Pixel models. 

In addition to this, a tipster named Mystery Lupin claims the official Pixel 10 series launch will happen on August 13. It might be surprising for a few of you to see this launch timeline but Google did introduce the Pixel 9 models around the same time last year. The tipster claims the Pixel 10 models will start shipping from August 28, 2025 which also seems believable. 

The Pixel 10 leaks and details have gathered pace in recent weeks. Android 16 has also been announced with the public beta now available for Pixel users starting series 6 and higher. When you put all these cards into a deck, Google seems primed for a big Pixel 10 launch in the next few months.

The Pixel 10 series could have a big flagship moment for Google. The news coming in from Taiwan via DigiTimes suggests Google and TSMC have signed a deal that brings its chipset to Pixel phones at least until the Pixel 14 series in 2029. 

The Pixel 10 series launch this year is already being tipped to be a big moment for Google and its supposed deal with TSMC suggests the Tensor G5 chipset could be getting the best 3nm process delivered on the handsets. “The cooperation between the two parties will last for many years, at least until the stage of the new Pixel 14, which is about three to five years later", the report added. 

The Pixel 9 series starts at around Rs 70,000 while the Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL cost well over a lakh. If Google plans to price the Pixel 10 models in this bracket, the TSMC upgrade is not only warranted but eagerly awaited.
