Microsoft is going big with AI but some useful features are coming your way on Windows 11 PCs in the next few updates. The latest Windows 11 build shows us the power of AI which will make it easy to take screenshots, write notes and even generate custom stickers with simple text prompts. The Windows 11 PCs already come with Copilot for these features and more but adding them to popular tools like Paint and Notepad will be welcomed by most users.

Windows 11 AI Update For Screenshots And Notes

How many times have you felt the need for AI to help you take the precise screenshot? Well, the new Windows 11 build gives you just that using the reliable Snipping tool on your PC. You just have to click on the tool and select the Perfect screenshot button to let the AI do your work by selecting and resizing the content intelligently. You can avoid clicking any button and use the screenshot option by holding the Ctrl key on the PC or laptop.

Paint is the next destination for multiple AI upgrades on Windows 11. You now get the AI-powered custom sticker generator that can give you new stickers with a text prompt. Paint will show you multiple results based on the context and let you select from any of them. You also get smart selection for objects using AI in Paint which is equally useful.

And finally, you have AI helping you take notes in Notepad on Windows 11 using the Write feature. Now you can quickly create drafts just by feeding the relevant text form and making changes later using the same method.

I am sure most Windows 11 users are excited about trying out these AI features on their PCs but Microsoft has played the smart card by making it available to select users. The company wants you to sign in with your Microsoft account, and have paid version access to Microsoft 365 Personal, Family, enterprise or Copilot Pro editions.

Besides these AI upgrades, Windows users are getting a new voice mode which activates by saying “Hey, Copilot!", according to the latest blog posted by Microsoft. The tech giant is trialing this new voice trigger on Windows as part of its recent push towards adding new AI features to deliver an enhanced experience for artificial intelligence users.

The company says the opt-in feature gives people the chance to use the Copilot without needing to use their hands. To avail of the command-based update, users must unblock their Windows PC.
