Your Phone’s Battery Draining Faster Than Usual? Google Says It Was Instagram’s Fault
The year of the slim will get a big boost with the rumoured launch of the iPhone 17 Air model later this year. Samsung has already said that its Galaxy S25 Edge has not been inspired from the upcoming Apple version.
But with the promise of a sleek design and some cutbacks to achieve that figure, both these companies are expected to face the dreaded bend tests. We’re yet to see the Samsung’s Edge model put through the challenge. However, the yet-to-launch iPhone 17 Air has already faced the tough test that has come via a leaked video recently.
iPhone 17 Air Bend Test Leak: Does It Fail Or Win?
The leaked video has been shared by tipster Majin Bu on X, who has previously shared the renders of the Air model. So, how does the iPhone 17 Air handle the tough bend test, does it fold or hold its ground? The test video suggests the iPhone 17 Air has been built using solid materials which means the model is able to stay in shape despite the person putting strong effort to try and bend the device.
Apple’s previous models like the iPhone 6 series were not fortunate to handle the bend test, but the iPhone 17 Air definitely feels like a superior upgrade to the older versions. It has been mentioned earlier that Apple is going to reinforce the durability of the iPhone 17 Air with premium materials like titanium and aluminium which augurs well for the strength of the device.
These are merely the renders/dummy of the iPhone 17 Air model but these visuals are a clear indication of how Apple is serious about making its new device work.
We’re eager to see how Apple shapes this unique device and how it plans to tackle the obvious battery life issues. After all, the iPhone 17 Air leak suggests Apple will offer a 2800mAh battery which is significantly smaller than the 3900mAh unit packed in the Galaxy S25 Edge. Having said that, Apple plans to bring AI support to iOS 19 to help manage the battery of iPhone 17 series models.
